I have had a hectic but enjoyable day, at the Cardiff Butetown History & Arts center. Helping to put the exhibition together. Well I did the paper work while the rest hammered drilled and hung paintings.
Wonderful lunch ( all you can eat does not constitute to my 5 a day )curry mmmm. Great company and beautiful building. So people please come the opening of The Great Summer Exhibition Bute Street Cardiff Bay on July the 1st 2 till 5.
Work from over 40 artist so something for every one. Who knows maybe the sun will come out???

Dairy of A Frustrated Artist.

ImageWell it happened, my washing machine has died, I said a few words for it ( can’t publish them though ) and then flagged down the rag n bone man who was happy to remove the offending item from my kitchen. Ah the price of scrap pales in comparison to my pile of unwashed laundry. Gone is the little kick to the left hand side of the door that prompted it to spin. Now I am looking at going to the river to do my smalls!!

On a lighter note I spent six hours strapped to the computer typing away for all im worth trying to get this research folio done, argh argh again , all I have left to do for today at least is finish a rather large painting. Still it’s keeping me from comfort eating so there is an upside to everything .
